Using simple passwords is never a wise decision, but even longer ones are not as efficient as they used to be, especially if they are just words, because they can be guessed eventually. With Bitwarden, you can store account passwords in a secure database, so you you don't need to remember them, which means that you can make them as long and complex as you want. Additionally, the software lets you store identity information, card details, as well as personal notes.

Bitwarden comes in free and paid editions and it is available for various platforms, including mobile devices and web browsers. Downloading and installing the application shouldn't be a challenge, even for inexperienced users. Furthermore, there is no need to install any prerequisite tools and you don't have to sacrifice too many resources to run the application.

The software lets you create entries for login credentials, bank cards, identities and notes. You can view all entry types in the same list, but you can also filter them, if you wish to see only logins, cards or other entry types. Additionally, you may create custom folders and populate them with any kind of entries.

Creating a database item doesn't involve much more than filling in a series of input fields. Depending on the entry type, you can specify usernames, passwords, URLs, card numbers, addresses and so on. You can also assign the new entry to one of your folders during this step. When viewing the stored information, you can copy individual details to the clipboard with a single click.

The software places a few useful tools at your disposal, for editing items. For example, its built-in password generator can be used to create long and complex passwords, with upper and lower-case letters, numbers and special characters. Another useful feature is the possibility of adding custom fields when editing an entry. If you wish to specify some additional information, but can't find the right field for it, you can create a new text, hidden or Boolean field at a moment's notice.

Thanks to Bitwarden's clean and efficient functionality, you will never have to remember a password again.

Pros

You can store passwords and other sensitive pieces of information in a secure database. The software provides you with a password generator and it lets you create custom fields. It provides a user-friendly interface and intuitive controls.

Cons

There are no serious complaints to have.
